Summer Placements

We have a number of summer placements for students studying for a degree or other professional qualifications. A placement with us offers invaluable experience, working as part of a team on real projects and confronting real challenges.
Summer placements start from a minimum of 4 weeks to under 12 months in duration.

Please note we receive a large number of applications for these positions, as a result we recommend that you apply asap to avoid disappointment.  

Relevant training and development opportunities will be given, and you will also have the chance to get involved with a variety of activities including Education Liaison. A competitive salary pro rata to the length of your placement will be offered.

Working for SELEX Galileo (Basildon), reporting directly to the Product Assurance Manager (EON&L Line of Businesses) on a Cost Reduction program supporting:
 

• Long Term non-conformance closure
• Review Root Cause Corrective Action (RCA)
• Support Engineering and Production with Functional Failure Review Boards (FRB)
• Review potential Defect Management Systems, determine what improvements could be made to our current SAP Process to drive efficiency.
