January, 12 2012 SELEX Galileo, a Finmeccanica Company, has signed an agreement to provide Electronic Warfare (EW) training for Greek Army technicians and flight crew operating out of the Hellenic Army Aviation base at Megara. Following the comprehensive 6 month training programme SELEX Galileo will field personnel to support Hellenic Army crews on-site at the base in Megara. January, 10 2012 SELEX Galileo, a Finmeccanica Company and leader in defence electronics, has recently become an associate member of the PXI System Alliance (PXISA) organisation after adopting the use of PXI technology. December, 08 2011 SELEX Galileo, a Finmeccanica company, has been awarded a ?5M (£4.3M) contract from the UK Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) Artillery Systems Team to upgrade the current Layers Display and Control Unit (LDCU) of the UK's L118 Light Gun. The upgrade involves replacing the existing LINAPS interface with a new 10 inch, touch-sensitive display. FOCUS ON: Greek EW training SELEX Galileo is Europe's number one supplier of electronic warfare technology and has a fully-functional electronic warfare operation support centre in Lincoln, UK where users can access support and training. At the end of January, Greek army air crews and technicians will arrive at Lincoln for 6 months of training to optimise their use of the Company's HIDAS defensive aid suite for Greek Apache helicopters. .pdf

FOCUS ON: PXI System Alliance SELEX Galileo has designed boards using the PXI standard since January 2010 and has recently launched the new Video Pattern Generator and Captor (VPGc) PXI board. This experience has now been officially recognised as the Company becomes an associate member of the PXI System Alliance (PXISA) organisation an industry consortium that promotes the PXI standard. .pdf
